Safe Driving
Does anyone drive safe anymore? The minute the phone rings that person picks up the phone in one hand and steers the vehicle with the other hand. Or that person is searching for something on the phone...like a directions or something while the vehicle is still in motion. If ya want to use your phone pull over. It's annoying to see people driving while talking on the cell phone. What's worse is if your texting while driving. People the cell phone is not your #1 priority while on the road, it's your driving. Drive safe and pull to the side if the cell phone must be answered.

The Demon from Hell
Deep within the San Fernando Valley in the state of California, stands a house that has been vacated for nearly 5 decades. A small 2 story house that sits in the middle in a small community. The windows are nailed shut with blocks of wood blocking any entry into the house. The door was heavily barricaded allowing no passage inside the house. Residents claim that they feel a strong presence when driving by the house at night. So what's the story behind the house? A pair of rookie paranormal investigators chose that house to unlock the mystery within.
Heidi and Kelly have gained an interest in the supernatural after capturing a photo of a spirit surrounded by white light. Ever since then, they have been looking through photos of actual spirits captured on camera from around the world. They have also listened to real footage of EVP caught on tape and were fascinated by it. The idea of capturing voices by the dead sparked the interest of Heidi and Kelly. One day they decide to take it one step forward. Instead of observing other investigator's findings, they decide to investigate themselves. They began searching for a site to begin their investigation. After hours of driving around they drive by the old house. They examine the house from the outside for a few minutes. "I have a strong feeling that we should check out this house", said Heidi. "Are you sure you want to do our investigation in this old house", said Kelly. "Of course. This has to be the first place to do our investigation", said Heidi. Kelly felt something that she never felt before. The closer she is to the house the more she gets the chills. But, Kelly agreed to start with the old house. "We have to start somewhere. Might as well start investigating this old house", Kelly said. With both in agreement, the two plan to take on the house the following night so they can prepare their equipment as well as themselves.
The following night the two gather their gear and head towards the old house. They approach the front door and tried to break in. "There has to be another way into this house", said Heidi. "Let's search for another passage. "Come here!", exclaimed Kelly. Kelly located a basement window surrounded by a bush. The window was the only one that was not locked. After locating the window the two switch on their radios and digital recorders as they set foot into the abandon house.
"I'll investigate the basement and the 1st floor and you take the 2nd floor," said Kelly. "Got it. We'll radio each other when something comes up," said Heidi. For the first 5 minutes while Kelly is in the basement, she notices a temperature drop to the point that she can see her breath. She takes out her tape recorder and begins asking questions. "Who are you? If your here can you make some kind of a noise?", Kelly asked. Kelly soon starts to here noises. "Heidi, get down here I think there is something coming down the stairs of the basement." Kelly said. She then notices that when she uses the radio she hears a static noise. Her radio is being jammed. Kelly feeles a strong presence and shines her flashlight toward the stairs. Then...nothing. Kelly hears something in her ear. Heavy breathing is heard in Kelly's right ear. She runs up the stairs and searches for Heidi. Heidi made her way to the 2nd floor and enters a large room. She looks around and notices heavy breathing in her ear. She turns quickly to see but there was no one there. She turns around to continue investigating when she notices someone in the corner. A man dressed in black. The man was staring at Heidi with his black eyes. Heidi runs out of the room towards the stairs and bumps into Kelly. "Let's get out of here." Kelly said. The two head straight for the basement towards the window they came in. Kelly made it out first. As Heidi was coming out something grabs her leg, it's the man she saw upstairs. Kelly pulls and pulls until Heidi is out. The two drive off never to return to that house again. "That's it! I'm not investigating anymore," exclaimed Heidi. "Me too, I'll never do anything like this again," said Kelly. The two drive home trying to clear their minds of that horrifying experience.
That same night Heidi was in her room and notices that her tape recorder was still recording. She rewinds the tape and plays it. The whole night was recorded starting from the basement. She heard growling throughout the tape up to the point when both of them escaped the house. She stops the tape and feels a sudden chill. She spots something in the corner of her eye. She turns and looks. The man dressed in black had followed her through the tape.

A Dream Will Soon Become Reality
Every time I see a great movie I wish I was in it. Every time I see someone performing on stage, whether it's music or theatre, I wish I was the one performing. So far these are just dreams. When I was 10 yrs old the Backstreet Boys were a hit. I used to listen to their music all time and dream that I am on stage in front of a live audience performing their songs like I was part of the group. In my sophomore yr of high school I sang "You Raise Me Up" , by Josh Groban on stage. At that time they announced that they were going to host the 1st ever talent show of the school. I just got that feeling that I wanted to audition for a spot in the show. Surprisingly I got the spot on the show. Even to this day I'm still surprised that I made it to the talent show. I know that I'm not a great singer but I do put effort into it. I also was in concert band as a flutist. The experience was amazing. Playing along side other musicians is a privilege. Concert choir was the last thing I was a part of. Very fun singing choral songs. That was my musical part of my life. Now the acting part hasn't happened yet. I just know that it will happen someday. The day that I start acting on film and stage will be the happiest day of my life.

Don't Quit on Education
Being a high school graduate doesn't mean anything. Anyone can get a high school diploma or a GED. But a college degree is something most people don't have. It doesn't matter if you get your degree from a university, community college, online, etc. As long as you have that degree you open up your options. Even just ONE degree can land you many job opportunities. It doesn't matter how old you are, if you want to get a degree in a certain field, go for it. A few years ago my classmate graduated at the age of 80+. A week later he passed away but he was happy he went through with it. So if you want a better life, education is the key.

Taking A Break
Right now I am taking a break from acting classes. Why? Because it costs so much money to take them and I just don't have enough. I have to pay for my summer/fall semester classes and books...which are more important. But once I pay all that I'm diving back in. Also transportation has been an issue. My car has to be in top shape before I can do anything else regarding my acting stuff. Especially if I get a call-back from an agent. I don't want to struggle to get to the agent's office. Just going to give me a headache. I want to start looking for agents once I get my braces off in 2 months. YAY!!! Once their off I need another shoot for my headshots. Even though some people think that my acting classes are a waste of time, it makes me feel happy that I'm taking a step to improving my artistic abilities. My acting is not the best, but I give 100% effort. That has to count for something, right? Not to the agents it doesn't. It's skill that beats effort. The more classes I take the more my skill will improve. But until then, just taking a break for a while enjoying my last month of summer before summer school.

Following a Dream
The road is challenging. Especially when choosing a career. The way I see it, choose a career you will be happy doing, not just for the money. If you go for just the money, in the long run you won't be happy. I chose the path of being an actor. My dream is to become a professional actor in Hollywood. Even though acting has the lowest employment rate, I don't care. This is what I want to do. I want to work in the entertaiment industry. I'm in college right now and my major is theatre. Not sure what my other major is going to be yet but I will find out as soon as I finish with the GE in college which are a pain. Anyway, you don't want to look back and say, "I should have done this". Do whatever is in your heart and not what people tell you what is best for you.
